I too was taken back by the amount of treasures my children can accumulate. I enlisted the children's help (ages 8, 6, and 4). They choose what they want to keep. I then scan (if possible) the item into the computer. From there I can: print a 4x6 photo and make a photo album of treasures, or I can file it digitally on a usb port. They get to keep their treasures and I don't have to keep the mess! I have three lovely children, two of which are in school.
